In October 2011, apartment prices in Riga have risen by 1.8%. Given that demand for Riga centre apartments that would meet customers’ needs exceeds supply, prices of apartments in this segment have slightly gained.

In October, local customers showed stable interest in small, two-room apartments in new projects, according to Ober-Haus Riga Apartment Price Index.

Over the past 12 months, apartment prices have gone up 5.3%.

Compared to the highest-observed apartment price level in May 2007, apartment prices in Riga dropped by 58.8% in October 2011.
